SHREDDING SERVICES

ECCO is now offering shredding services to NYC Area. Through our partnership with American Security Shredding we provide highly secure, on-site and off-site shredding to help our customers comply with HIPAA, GLB, FACTA, as well as all other federal information destruction laws.

ECCO Business is pleased to offer three options for shredding service;

Walk-in Shredding is the best option if you have a small amount of shredding to be done.  Once you bring in your shredded material to our facilities, we weight the material to be shredded.  Our rate is $1.50 per pound.  Your shredded material is then stored in a lock container until our next schedule purge.  (This varies on how much comes in per week).  Once your material is shredded we can mail, fax or email you the "Certificate of Destruction" for your records.

Off-Site Shredding is a highly secure, low-cost alternative to on-site shredding. Our certified drivers pick up confidential materials from your locked containers and place them in a large, locking container. From there they are secured in a locked shredding company truck and brought back to our plant to be shredded. Once at our facility, the driver brings all the locked security containers into the plant. The confidential materials are then shredded by our certified workers, all of which have passed stringent background checks and on-going, random drug tests. The shredded materials are then baled and shipped to a paper mill for recycling.

Pricing:                         $95.00 per bin

 

On-Site Shredding is a highly secure shredding process. Our certified drivers pick up confidential materials from your locked containers and bring them directly to our shredding truck. The hydraulic lift on the truck then raises the container to the shredder and your confidential information is shredded in minutes. As an added security feature, all our high-tech shredding trucks are equipped with a camera and video monitor system. This allows both driver and customer the opportunity to verify that all confidential information has indeed been shredded.  After the driver brings the truck back to our plant, the shredded materials are then baled and shipped to a paper mill for recycling.
